Nutrition for children

Nutrition for children is crucial to give your child the best possible start in life. You need to make sure they have a healthy diet, are active and have a healthy attitude towards food.  Eating a balanced, nutritious daily diet is the key to present and future health.  Encourage different foods, tastes and textures; educate their palate as you are their brain.  Try to limit processed, fried and junk foods, along with added salt, sugar and fat to their meals.

Daily activity is crucial for your children, they should be engaging in at least 60 minutes physical exercise every day.  Getting a dog is one of the best catalysts for daily exercise; the dog HAS to be walked, so it gets you all out of the house together.  Meal times and daily exercise not only has a functional purpose, it also allows for family conversation and fosters great social behaviour.
